This was one of my favorite books read in 2017, I strongly recommend reading it. Andrew Carnegie's major motive was making men more useful to themselves and others. He said that making better men is a greater motive than making money.

Inspiring book on the author's personal minimalism journey. Contains practical advice for how-to declutter and discard, plus thoughts to challenge ones mindset about possessions.
Up from Slavery Book Summary
Really enjoyed this personal memoir by Booker T. Washington. Here are two of my favorite quotes: There is a physical, mental and spiritual enjoyment that comes from a consciousness of being the absolute master of ones work, in all it's details, that is very satisfactory and inspiring. The older I grow, the more I am convinced that there is no education one can get from books and costly apparatus that is equal to that which can be gotten from contact with great men and women.
Onward by Howard Schultz Summary
Onward is written in a narrative format. The story is enjoyable and follows Howard's story of founding his own coffee company Il Giornale, his purchasing of Starbucks, and covers much of the Starbucks story from the time of his purchase in 1988 to 2011.
