Choose Yourself! by James Altucher Summary
Choose Yourself is one of my favorite books read in 2017. James is vulnerable in his writing, making him relatable and engaging. Contains several lists of ideas and plans with specific steps you can try. His suggestions to write 10 ideas a day, make a friends circle of influence, and write down every dream you have, had the most impact on me.

Up from Slavery Book Summary
Really enjoyed this personal memoir by Booker T. Washington. Here are two of my favorite quotes: There is a physical, mental and spiritual enjoyment that comes from a consciousness of being the absolute master of ones work, in all it's details, that is very satisfactory and inspiring. The older I grow, the more I am convinced that there is no education one can get from books and costly apparatus that is equal to that which can be gotten from contact with great men and women.
